END THE GENOCIDE IN GAZA

As Borough President, Antonio has seen the atrocities of the past two years spark grief and fear across Brooklyn. He has spoken with Palestinian and Muslim families afraid that their loved ones wouldn’t survive another night of the Israeli government’s genocide. He has sat in grief with families of Israeli hostages who were abducted during Hamas’ horrific October 7 attack.

Palestinians and Israelis alike deserve lasting peace, security, and equal rights, and all communities here at home deserve safety – free from antisemitism, Islamophobia, and all forms of hate.

Over the past two years, Prime Minister Netanyahu and his regime have waged a genocide against the people of Gaza – and American taxpayers have been forced to foot the bill.

In the past two years alone, the United States government has sent billions in direct military aid and thousands of tons of arms and equipment to Israel.

If elected, Antonio would vote to end the United States’ complicity and shift policy to apply meaningful political, diplomatic, and economic pressure that upholds human rights, ends the occupation, and prevents the decades-long pattern of recurring bloodshed.

He will oppose military funds and weapons for Israel, settlement violence in the West Bank, and the Israeli government’s annexation of territory in Gaza and the West Bank. He will never take money from AIPAC.

We cannot bomb our way to peace, and we must not allow suffering to be exploited for more suffering. Only by transforming the root conditions of this conflict can a just and durable peace take hold.
